5/31/14

was playing my Long Rifle campaign this morning and thought i should introduce a few of the main characters the figures below make up my band, you can only have as many followers as you have rep points.

I finished up the campaign for 1777 and decided that Jackson had been neutral for too long in the conflict and would have to choose sides.  He left it to a vote, we ended up joining with the Continentals.

I expect this to bring a lot more combat into the game, because as a neutral trapper i had been trying to avoid conflict (except w/ Simon the other trapper in the valley)  I'm excited to see what 1778 brings. Time to set the traps for March 1778.
left to right we have Jackson, then master tracker Two Weasels, Zeke Smith and lastly Running Deer
i ended the fall of 1777 by bringing my pelts to Fort #9 i was able to sell 11 of the 14 and made a tidy profit for Jackson's gang.
Wagon groaning under the weight of the fur bundles

lastly i wanted to share my new river i made.  i will discuss a How to in a later post, but for now here are some pictures
Close up of Coffee Bridge, so named because it is made from coffee stirrers.  you can see some rocks and reeds along the banks
